Howard County police say that they were investigating a threat made against the River Hill High School in Clarksville at approximately 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 4, according to officials.
Investigators said that the district received a phone call threat on Tuesday afternoon of a student with a gun and bomb at the school.
River Hill High School went into its lockdown protocols shortly before 2 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon after the threat was made, police said during the investigation.
The threat was ultimately unfounded, and police said that there was “no evidence of actual danger at this time.”
